Who is Lorenz?

Lorenz, you welcome your clientele in your beautiful showroom place Vendôme. What were your inspirations to create this magical space that invite to dream?

Poet, architect and gardener are the three universe that inspire me to create. When you arrive 4 place Vendôme, you can see my collections in one of my three rooms. Each of them has a name, a spirit and has been designed specialy.

Are this three universes an inspiration for your creations?

The poet offers jewellery with implied messages such as the ring "after the rain, comes the sun" with in its center a tahitian pearl surrounded with diamonds for the rain drops. If you twist the ring, you will see a beautifull gold sun.

The gardener who sows and cultivate illustrates my passion for nature. The leek brooch set with sapphires in the shades of green and orange or even the fish ring fighting with its blue sapphire set with violet and light blues stones...

The architect draws, imagines and creates from scratch what he has conceived from paper to reality. Exactly like me, but to a larger scale! I appreciate geometry and I tried to reproduce this forms in my jewelleries such as the mobile earrings inspired from Calder mobiles.

what are the steps in the creation?

A jewellery is imagined from a museum visit, a place discovery, a trip, a town sometimes an animal I like or on the contrary dislike...
My inspiration comes from very different part of my personnality, from an idea comes a sketch then a drawing and finally the making by the best craftsmen.

Who is your clientele?

Men and women who "know", who want to get or offer something they will find nowhere else... often made to measure..
